My work focuses on ignored conditions; previously this was a euphemism for low-cost design moves in architecture school, now it is literally the ignored living conditions of average people by designers. In my mind, designers should be average people themselves.

I finished my NCARB hours and have begun studying for the tests. I’m keeping my eye on the industry as a whole, along with learning about new construction technology and tenant-landlord relations. If an architect is a jack-of-all-trades, then I want to use all those trades in my work.

I work with two nonprofits, operating corporate diversity trainings with the Human Library and helping the admin team of a student advocate org. With my remaining time, I play viola in the local community orchestra.
