For a couple of years, I’ve volunteered as a human Book with the Human Library, being “read” by other people by talking about my life experiences. I have a unique title so I’m called up often for public readings, Zoom readings, and recently, corporate trainings. It has been a fantastic experience where I’ve met many different people, and the org itself is extremely well-run. Watching it operate and being a part of its international reputation is yet another chance to learn the systems I want to be ingrained in.
